I have finally come to terms with what my path is not. I am not made to be in university for x years and then dive into a career until I’m 65. I have a thirst for adventure that can’t be quenched so easily. I have avoided making long term plans in the past but this is more of an outline than anything.
When I’m no longer in school I would love to go to England via the SWAP program. After that (or before if I have not gathered sufficient funds) I want to be a flight attendant! It sounds random but it really isn’t different from my current job – switch the bus for a plane and it’s the same!
Somewhere in between I want to live in Montreal. It is my hometown, after all, and it is so beautiful! I’ll use the time to improve my French.
The other major trip I have planned is to Brazil for the 2014 World Cup. From there I suppose life will run it’s course.
I’ve only told a few friends about these plans (dreams?). I may be happy with my decisions but I’m still worried of what my parents will think. Oh well. I’ll cross that bridge when I get there.
